Second Round of Allotment The following candidates would be able to participate in the 2nd round of allotment:
Candidates participating in this round will have to submit fresh choices. Choices submit in the first round will be null and void. Candidates who are allotted a seat in this round will not be allowed to vacate their seat. Seats which remain vacant after the second round of allotment will be turned over the state authority for state counselling.
Yes, candidates must note that it is mandatory for them to join the allotted institution/college after the first round of counselling conducted by the DGHS if they intend to participate in the next round. Candidates, regardless of whether they have been allotted seats under All India Quota or in Deemed and Central Universities, will have to complete the necessary admission formalities at their allotted college and only then will they be eligible to exercise the option to participate in further rounds and choose other colleges in the NEET counselling process.
