It depends on what your goal is? Both these colleges are very good and similar to an extent regarding the placement and teaching methodology. VIT is situated in a town which is 130km from chennai and vellore is not very developed which means you will have some issues regarding food and entertainment which is very crucial in college years. PES is however in Bengaluru which means you get to have the benefits of living in a better city. Location is the only significant difference between both the colleges.

In my opinion, VIT VELLORE will be the best option for CSE branch when compared with PES because placement opportunities are more in VIT with average package of over 6 LPA.Campus is also very big and nice.Faculties will guide you properly in VIT campus.
