Should I leave engineering if I am not able to clear jee advanced?

Hey,

If you want to leave engineering you probably should, you must only do what you really want to but if you think engineering equals IIT you are probably wrong. There are so many colleges out there and as much as college name affects your career, your skills affect it more.

If getting into IIT is your opinion of doing engineering, you really need to sort your mind up before taking the big step of deciding how you will spend your four or three years.

Here is some motivation for you to do engineering even if you are not able to clear IIT advanced:

My friend Jiten did BCA because he couldn't clear Engineering entrance exams, he is working for Wipro right now as a senior software engineer (five years in the company) and is currently onsite (in Tulsa, Oklahoma).

So if a BCA can get there, certainly a B.tech can get there much faster.

I hope you do get into IIT advanced if it means that much to you, here are some information about JEE 2019:

The exam is conducted twice in a year, in the month of April and January.
