Hello aspirant,
Its totally depends upon your interest. If you are interested in cse/ it you can join iiit without any hesitation. If your interested in metallurgy branch then you can join NIT. Take time and thinking properly, then take admission according to your interest. One my friend interested in cse. He got good rank in jee mains and lower rank in jee Advance. They eligible admission for cse in MNIT allahabad and mining in ISM Dhanwad. He take admission in iit in mining branch without interest after one year.

Take time……..and thinking properly, then take admission according to your interest… as for example:-) one my friend vaibhav interested in cse. He got good rank in jee mains and lower rank in jee advance. They eligible addmission for cse in MNIT Allhabad and mining in ISM Dhanwad. He takes admission in IIT in mining branch without interest…After one-year Vaibhav finally leave college ( ISM DHANWAD )due to high pressure…so take addmission in your interesting branch…
