should i prefer cs branch in a tier 2 college or a lower engineering branch (eee/mech or lower) in an nit? p.s. i have no specific interest in core/lower engineering and aim to work in the tech industry in india or abroad.

Hope you are doing great.

So, if you are wishing to get enrolled in technology field, then it will be better for you to get enrolled in the CSE branch and choose a specialization in the same such IT or AI or Machine Learning. However if you are interested in the other courses such as manufacturing technology or something, then you can go for the the Mech branch or ECE or EEE branches.
