Hey,

As per NIRF ranking Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology is ranked 29th. Considering the reliability, as rankings are based on various important factors which students struggle to know about, this college is a good place. And coming to the branch Electronics and Computer Engineering undergraduate program is a integrated course aimed to combine these two most demanded separate engineering fields to meet the demand and catch best of the opportunities given by the electronic and computer industries in today's world. So answer to your question is yes on the basis of trends in the industry.

But, most important is you interest. Since this branch is the combination of 2 branches so you need to first analyse whether you like it or not. As whichever branch you choose, if you are not liking it then you cannot put your 100% efforts into it and in the end it will take you no where. So choose the one which you want to do. If Electronics and Computer Engineering is your thing then go for it.

Best Wishes.
