Hi Nav, it all depends on your interest. None can dictate to you what you should study because you are mature enough to chalk out your own path. It is you who has to live with that carer all your life so whatever decision you take must be taken judiciously. If you are convinced that computer science interests you then you must go ahead.

hello Nav mng ,
if you take computer science as your suject in 12th (bifocal) it would help you in computer science engineering.
hello,
yes, choosing computer science group among others in +2 board will be useful when you gonna take computer science engineering courses.since on 2nd semester, you'll be having some your core subjects like c or c++ etc.,if you take biology in +2 or any other vocational subjects, then you'll definitely struggle a lot to understand.so if you're gonna take CSE in UG programme, then you can take Computer science group without any hesitation.
all the best!
I Hope this information will be useful to you.
if you need additional information, let us know to help you.
Thank you!!!:)
Hi student,
Yes if you are interested in computer science then you should definitely choose it as an optional in your class 12. I can speak from experience that it is definitely beneficial in engineering if you have some background in CSE. It is as scoring as physical education or any other subject. Moreover it will be easier for you in college in first year. But don't be mistaken that what you study in class 12 in computer science is going to be same in college for four years. It will only be helpful in first year. Rest of the years in college will have different topics in CSE as compared to what you study in class 12.
So go for CSE only if you are tremendously interested.
Hope it helps
Good luck
