should i take a drop for jee 2021?its just few months away.main-191/300 19926rank, adv-126/396 8216rank, bitsat 352/450-am getting bits hyd cs but dont wanna go as its very far(1800km from chandigarh,cant live away for 4yrs)& highly unaffordable.am stubborn abt getting cse.goal-IIT ropar,PEC chd cse

Hey there!

If you feel like none of the current options are going to work out for me by all means, take a drop. Having said that, there's no surety that you'll get the rank you want next year. Your rank this year is great. You could easily get into an IIT with your ranking so the question is are you sure you want to give that up for what might or might not happen? I'd say take admission somewhere this year and appear for next year's jee as well it that's a suitable choice because it would be the best one.
