See, a higher education in Computer Science is a very mathematics oriented field, and if you consider the option of Artificial Intelligence, then the field of AI is almost 100 percent mathematics. So, if you have made up the mind to go into this field, then you will have to face Maths daily, so I would highly recommend you to make mathematics your friend.
Moreover, if you like machines, then your life will become a little less difficult if you go in the robotics field, which essentially is applied AI. Hope I have answered your question. All the best!
