Yes, you should.
JEE believes that -
- A student who has not done well in the first paper (due to some exam-fever, anxiety, and whatnot) deserves another chance.
- A student who has done well in the first paper should not get overconfident, lazy and should be able to focus on the exam so that the best out of the best gets filtered out.
In the end, only the aggregate of the marks is taken into account.
Yet, if you miss out on one paper, then most probably your paper will not be considered for the evaluation (or at least that’s what JEE says).
