Dear Aspirant,
It is not a good decision to leave your job for preparation as it will become very difficult to justify your action in interview. Interviews might not like this step of yours and therefore you will find it hard to convert good colleges.
Moreover, IIMs give weightage to work ex in both calling out candidates and converting calls so it will be beneficial for you there too.
But there are cases where students have managed to get a good percentile and convert the call despite taking gap year. It all depends upon your profile and how does your interview goes.
Hope this helps. Thank you.
If you are not happy with your current job and not earning good money and you have confidence that you will able to make it then only it is a good choice to leave job.taking admission into I am depends upon a lot of factors like performance in class 10th class 12th and graduation so you know where you stand you can predict the approximate CAT percentile required to get into desired I am so if you are able to figure it out properly and have a proper plan about the required percentile for getting a call from IIM then you can take a decision best on the you are financial conditions as well as your age.
Hello student yes it's totally wise but it's totally upto you if you're able to afford that to leave a job because it's not easy to get ajob easily these days. If you wish you can prepare for cat while working as many students secured good rank in cat examination while working.
