Hi Artura

The online form filling process comprises of 4 steps:

  • Fill the Online Application Form and get the Registration Number
  • Upload Photo and Signature
  • Make Payment of Fee
  • Print Confirmation Page

All these steps are self-explanatory and can be completed easily. However, students often face issues in completing the second part i.e. Upload Photo and Signature. This is because the scanned images of Photo and Signature are required to meet the pre-specified requirements. So, don't just rush into the application form filling process. First read the specifications regarding photograph and signature upload carefully. So, here are the specifications as stated in the official NEET 2018 notification.

The scanned copy of the photograph should meet the following specifications:

  • Scanned copy of your recent photograph in JPG format only.
  • Size of the photograph should be between10 KB and 100 KB.
  • Front-facing passport size photograph with white background.
  • Name of the candidate and date of taking the photograph should be mentioned on the photograph.
  • The photograph must be taken on or after 01 January 2018.
  • Please dont wear cap or goggles while getting the photograph clicked.
  • You can wear spectacles if used regularly.
  • Computer and Polaroid generated photographs will not be accepted.

Please Note:

  • If the scanned photographs will not meet the above mentioned criteria, the form will be rejected.
  • If the photographs are found to be manipulated or digitally edited, the form will be rejected. This would be considered as use of unfair practices and would be dealt with according to the rules of unfair means.
  • It is mandatory to carry an additional passport size photograph (including name and date of taking photo) to the examination centre. It will be affixed on the attendance sheet.

All the Best for Exam!!

Never an issue of photo, you can go in FAQ section that is provided in NEET's site they it is clearly mentioned that students uploading photos without name and date have no issues however on the correction date if they permit to change the uploaded photo try to change that to be on a safer side.

It is a common error done by the applicants. You are not alone in the category. CBSE is aware of these things. Your application will be accepted with out any hassle. It is time to concentrate on your study. Best of luck.
