Hi Praveen,

At all circumstances, there should always be the signature and official seal/ stamp of the District Magistrate or Deputy Commissioner on documents issued by them or attested by them such as your domicile certificate that certifies your presence at a place for a stipulated time and for the caste certificate such as SC or ST or OBC certificates. The seal and signature prove the authenticity of the documents.
