If you can choose only one option between a BBA and an ACCA, it is better to pick the ACCA qualification, as ACCA is recognised across 150+ countries in the world and offers more career options globally.

A Bachelor’s Degree (A BBA In this case) will equip you with theoretical skills, but a professional qualification like ACCA will give you the opportunity to put these skills to use in the real world.

However, you don’t need to choose between a degree and your ACCA qualification. A BBA or any other Bachelor’s Degree can be pursued simultaneously with your ACCA qualification. Having a combination of an academic qualification (a Bachelor’s Degree) and a professional qualification (ACCA), gives you an advantage by opening up more opportunities. While a degree may help you secure a job, the ACCA qualification is more relevant to corporate practices, and will help you get promotions within your organisation.

Additionally, if you are pursuing the ACCA Program, you call also pursue a B.Sc. in accounting in concurrence with the ACCA. This Degree by Oxford Brookes University will give you an internationally recognised degree, that complements your ACCA qualification. This program is offered by multiple institutes across the world, however School of Excellence (SOE Global, Chennai), is one of the best institutes that has pioneered this program).

Answering your question, between BBA and ACCA, choose both. Pursue them together, and open up yourself to a huge window of opportunity.

Hey Kartik !!

Thanks for contacting career 360!!

yeah bba is better the bcom but if you have to go in field ACCA you should choose bcom . As BBA and ACCA together would be hectic for you . You can do bcom from any private institution side by side .Course is also relateble . So go for bcom !!

wish you luck !

Hii aspirant,,

Both will work with ACCA.

It depends on you in which course you are interested. BBA has too much of theory, it becomes hactic sometimes but if you are good with theory then go for BBA.

Otherwise Bcom will be a good choice.

thank you,,
