Following should be steps to become an investment banker:
1. You can take any stream in 10 + 2 but it is best to take commerce with Mathematics.
2. Next, go for a bachelors degree program in business administration. Generally, graduates specialized in Commerce, Mathematics or Economics get more preference.
3. Next, you would want to get an MBA or CA or Chartered Financial Analyst course.
These are going to be your basic 3 steps to become an Investment Banker.

You must take Commerce stream and go for Chartered Accountant course which is strongly recommended
Pist that you can either take Course on CFA or go for MBA in Finance from top 25 Bschools in India or World.
Based on that you need to start job opportunities after post graduation with profiles like Equity Analysis, Strategic Planning, Mergeer acquisition, etc and eventually you will land jobs in Investment Banking.
