The Department of Radiology and Imaging Science in Sri Ramachandra University is well equipped containing several state of the art equipments, which includes several Color Dopplers, MDCT (Light Speed Ultra), 1.5T MRI, Biplane 3D Rotational DSA (Advantax LCN+), besides several plain X-ray units and SPECT. This university is among the few medical institutes which have sanctioned 250 seats in MBBS degree.
Eligibility Criteria :
- A candidate must have passed recognized MBBS Degree and have completed Internship (CRRI).
- A candidate must have permanent registration of his/her name with any state medical council.
The admission to the above mentioned programme is done through marks secured by the candidate in the university entrance examination which is open to all candidates from any state or union territory of India. The course duration for PG MD (RADIO DIAGNOSIS) is of 3 years. You can register yourself by submitting application fees of Rs 500/- for above mentioned course. There are 12 seats available for MD(Radio Diagnosis) in Sri Ramachandra University.
Application Procedure :
- You can obtain the prospectus and application form from the website “www.ramachandra.edu.in”.
- You need to submit the application to the university along with the DD of Rs. 500/- in favour of "Sri Ramachandra University" payable at Chennai.
Selection Criteria :
- If multiple candidates secure same marks in the entrance examination then the selection will be based on their academic performance.
- Only medically fit candidates are selected to take admission.
- A candidate must have valid score in NEET PG followed by centralized counselling conducted by DGHS, New Delhi.
- Candidates must have secured minimum 50% marks in the entrance exam. For SC/ST and OBC candidates, 40% marks are required.
