Solution : [$\sqrt {25}$ + 12 ÷ 3 – {20 + (16 of 8 ÷ 16) – (54 ÷ 18 of $\frac{1}{2}$)}]
= [5 + 12 ÷ 3 – {20 + (128 ÷ 16) – (54 ÷ 9)}]
= [5 + 12 ÷ 3 – {20 + 8 – 6}]
= [5 + 12 ÷ 3 – 22]
= [5 + 4 – 22]
= [5 + 4 – 22]
= 9 – 22
= –13
Hence, the correct answer is –13.
