Since CMC vellore is a private institute does it take money in the form of donation apart from the normal fees of 1.55lacks for 5years of MBBS course?

CMC Vellore is a private institution. But NO extra donation is required apart from the fees as mentioned by the college. It is a charitable college and is meant to serve the poor.

Christian Medical College, Vellore is one of the best private medical colleges in India with an annual fees of about 1.6 lakh. The main objective is to provide affordable education. The total number of seats available in the college are 130 (as of 2019). The only way to get admission into this college is through NEET and by getting the cut off rank and percentile required by the college.
No donations are required apart from the MBBS fees.
The eligibility criteria to get admission into CMC Vellore is as follows:
- Marks in +2: The candidate should have at least 60% in the main subjects that are Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
- Cut off marks in NEET (2018): approximately more than 600 (for general category).
