Following will be the details of IPMAT:
i.There will be three sections in the Aptitude Test namely Quantitative Ability (Multiple ChoiceQuestion-MCQ), Quantitative Ability (Short Answer Question-SA) and Verbal Ability (MultipleChoice Question-MCQ). ii.Each question will carry 4 marks. iii. There will be a negative marking of 1 negative mark for each wrong answer exceptQuantitative Ability (SA) Section (these questions will not carry any negative marking). iv.The AT will be structured as under Section QA (MCQ) 40 questions 40 Minutes QA (SA) 20 questions 40 Minutes VA (MCQ) 40 questions 40 Minutes Candidate must answer the sections in a pre-specified order and this order will remain samefor all the candidates. The above table does not indicate the final order of sections.
Section wise Topics:
QA :
Number System Geometry, Mensuration Set Theory Data Interpretation Percentage, Profit and Loss Algebra Time, Speed Distance, Time and Work Simple Equations Averages Geometry Mixtures and Alligations Trigonometry Quantitative reasoning Interpretation of tables Common graphs & charts, etc.

Try to cover all the topics with your practice. The level of the questions will be of 10th level.
The verbal section is easy for anyone with a decent command over English. The paper is easy with medium level of vocab questions and passage solving questions. But daily reading of English news paper is recommended.
Hope I answered your query in detail. If you have any further queries you can comment over here. Please upvote if you liked my answer. All the very best for your future endeavours.
