Sir, 01) My son born in Tirupati (AP). He got Birth certificate and Community certificate from Tirupati, Thalisdar. Is it sufficient for NEET counselling or not. 02) Parent's community certificate also require or not. 03) Actually I (parent) have Xerox copy. No original. What to do now. pl reply

Hello Sir,
- There will not be any issue in NEET counselling for your son in All India Counselling. But there might be an issue when you go for other state counselling. In your own state and in All India Counselling the birth certificate and community certificate will be acceptable.
- Parents' community certificate is not required if the student has his/her own community certificate. Need not to worry about it.
- As the community certificate of parents' is not required hence there is no need to panic about the original or xerox copies.

Thank you for your reply. Actually I missed to ask you that my son born in 2001 at Tirupathi (A.P) and he obtained Birth certificate and Community certificate at Tirupati Urban, Thalisdhar (AP). But we are living in Chennai, Tamilnadu since 2000. He studied from 1 to 12th STD. ICSE, Doveton Schools , Verpery. Now my doubt whether this Community certificate is sufficient or again my son can apply and get Community certificate in Chennai, Tamilnadu. Kindly reply..sir
