In order to get admission in NITs, IIITs, GFTIs you should have minimum 75% in class 10+2 as a general category & 65% as a reserved category or you should be in top 20 percentile in your class XII exam conducted by the respective board. JEE Mains + Advanced is the National level exam which is not possible for every student to crack in the first attempt. And so you must understand that the level of the exam is so high. So you need to prepare accordingly by focusing on the important concepts, the types of questions asked every year, understand the paper pattern-question level.. by practicing the more n more number of MCQs daily. Simultaneously your 11-12th subjects will also be in link with the JEE preparation. The cutoffs change every year because of lot of factors and so it would be difficult to tell you the % range. You should set your target of minimum 300+ so as to get the admission in the Bestt institution.
