A rank of 2883 in the pwd category is a low rank for universities such as NITs or other high ranked institutions. Due to the increasing competition it would be tough to get into top courses such as computer science engineering or electrical and electronics engineering. Hence I would suggest you to look at private institutions as well in order to get into courses such as these.
