Hello,
To start with both Bcom and Bcom honours teaches the commerce stream subjects. In Bcom there are courses that inculcate business accumen and the courses are like an overview of the field, on the other hand in Bcom honours along with the general business courses, there is an option of specializing in a particular subject and the courses are taught more in depth. Bcom is target at making students familiar with the commerce and how business is done, in Bcom honours along with business skills you can get in depth knowledge of your area of specialization. Comparing the two, bcom honours have more value when you look for job opportunities in the market.
Hope this helps. Thank you.
Hello there. Hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that both B.Com (//B.Com) (pass) and B.Com (//B.Com) Hons are quite similar in terms of the subjects taught to you. The only difference that lies is that in B.Com (//B.Com) (Hons) you can specialize in one of the subject eg. Accounting but B.Com (//B.Com) Pass only provides you with the overview of all the subjects.
Another difference that lies is that B.Com (//B.Com) (Hons) is a much advanced course as compared to B.Com (//B.Com) Pass. The difficulty level is also high hence the cutoff for B.Com (//B.Com) Hons is relatively higher than B.Com (//B.Com) pass.
I hope you found this answer helpful. Good luck for your future.
