Sir, can a student who has passed 12th class with one compartmental in Chemistry (but he got above 75% in it) appear in Jee Mains and then for advance? Also, is the compulsion of min 75% in 12th Boards in Aggregate marks (in all subjects) or in each three main papers (Maths, Phy, Chem)? Reply soon.

If he has given the chemistry compartment and has cleared it then he may write JEE Main. Now to answer your second question, a candidate must have minimum 75 percent in class 12th boards to be eligible to appear in JEE. It is 65 percent if he belongs to SC or ST.
