Hello Aspirant,
See if any candidate fills the status retention form then it means that the candidate is satisfied with the allotted seat and don't want to sit for further rounds. So if you have filled the form and paid the admission fee for that allotted institute then also you can cancel your admission and you are free to repeat the year and prepare again and re-appear for NEET. Suppose if you are right now studying for BDS course in the allotted college then also you can prepare for NEET and can re-appear for NEET in upcoming attempts and if a new college would be allotted to you through that NEET score in the NEET Counselling then you are free to join the new college and the admission from the current college can be cancelled so that you can take all your submitted documents but note that in this case your fee will not be refunded back. So kindly take care of this point before going for another college.
