In India, there are various colleges which offer Bsc and Msc integrated course. I will be telling you the best colleges for the same and also how to get admission in those colleges. Bsc and Msc courses are often done by those who are interested to work in the Research field. It's a full-fledged 5-year course.

Generally, BSC is a 4-year course while MSC is a 2-year course hence by doing integrated BSC and MSC course you will save 1 year. The eligibility of doing integrated BSC and MSC course is that a student should be 12th passed with science or with biology.

Admission process:-

A student can get admission to various top grade colleges including IITs by appearing in the various entrance exams. What follows below is the list of various entrance examination through which you will get admission in various good colleges.

National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) - If you want to get admission in National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai - Dept. of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai then you must appear in this exam in order to make yourself eligible for the above college.

Eligibility:-

Candidates seeking admission to NISER & UM-DAE CEBS for the integrated M.Sc. Program 2019 should be from regular Science Stream only and preferably should have any combination of three subjects among Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics in classes XI and XII.

It is mandatory for all aspiring candidates to write the NEST 2019 exam; admission will be offered strictly on the basis of Merit List of NEST-2019.

Additionally, candidates must have passed class XII exam or equivalent from any recognized Board in India in the years 2017 or 2018 or be appearing for the same in 2019.

Candidates who are appearing for the board exam in 2019 must pass it by the time of admission.

Also, candidates must secure at least 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in class XII exam to be eligible for admission to NISER and CEBS. For candidates belonging to castes SC/ST & PD categories, the minimum requirement of marks is relaxed to 55% in aggregate.

Where only letter grades are available, a certificate from the concerned Board specifying the equivalent percentage of marks is required to be submitted. In absence of such a certificate, the decision of the admissions committee of the concerned institution will be final.

CIPET - Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology recently has announced 5 years integrated MSc Tech. (Materials Science & Engineering -5 years). CIPET  is situated in Bhubaneshwar and its one of the best colleges to offer an integrated course.

It conducts its joint entrance examination so you have to appear in that in order to get admission.

H. Sc./10+2 (Academic stream) with Maths, Physics & Chemistry

Admission procedure-

Selection will be purely based on the score you obtain in its joint entrance examination.
