yes, dc pandey is one of the best book for preparation for physics and if you solve all the previous year question paper. It will help you to look more confident in physics. Apart from this if you do hc verma and Ncert all are more than enough for physics. Just do revision twice and thrice after studying than the concepts will be in your mind forever.

Although there is a shortage of theory in the book but the problem will suffice and enlighten your experience and thought of problem solving. DC Pandey sirs book is amazing with a lot problems and the best thing about the book is it have different levels and as you keep on moving from one level to another , the ability of critical thinking gets enhanced. This books are really enough for JEE Mains & NEET and other exams.
But in case of JEE Advanced there are a lot problems that came from variable topics and to solve one problem you may require a lot of concepts for that you must follow "Problems in General Physics by IE IRODOV". Its a golden book and the pdf is easily available .
