Let me tell you a Diploma course is basically a three year course and after the completion of this if one student wants to pursue Btech in any branch then he would be offered lateral entry into the couse which means for eg an diploma student takes admission into Btech CSE then his admission would directly be done into the 3rd sem (2nd year) of Btech with addtional M1, M2 subjects as backlogs which he needs to clear.
