Yes, Ews is applicable in 2019 .
Ews means economically weaker sections that is those students whose family income is less than 8 lakh per annum ,fit in this category. The ews have cutoff less than general category but more than obc and sc ,St.
In 50% of general category seats, ews students will be given more priority than general category students.

3 days ago ,The National Testing Agency (NTA) has re-opened the NEET 2019 application correction window inviting the candidates to apply for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) reservation. By applying under EWS quota, candidates will be able to avail the benefits in the admission process as the medical colleges or institutions with EWS seats will conduct a separate counselling round for all such candidates.Don't trust on what people say, rumours spread more easily .so trust only trusted resources.
