It is really good that you are going through your NCERT text books. This will help you to keep your basics stronger and will help a lot in your higher studies.
Reading NCERT will let you answer theory questions and elaborate your answer.
Particularly in Chemistry, class 12 Board paper will consist a lot of direct NCERT questions.
So, I suggest you solve NCERT exercises given at end of each chapter for Physics and Chemistry. Later on, you can check Arihant Previous Year Papers Book for quick revision and learning about the type of questions asked.

If you're asking this for the competitive exams then I suggest you must buy some helpbooks of these subjects as NCERT contain very concise definition and therefore you might not be able to grasp the concept from NCERT alone.
Some of the best help books are concept of Physics, vol I and II by HC Verma, and modern abc for physics. For chemistry you can go for Dinesh publication or schand books.
