Sir, how can we choose center for net exam. I m in Kolkata, if I choose Kolkata ,then where will be my exam centre

While filling up the application form for NET examination it is usually asked to select your preferred exam centre. Hence, as per your convenience where you can travel and appear for the exam without any discomfort should be selected. If you opt for Kolkata Centre then the exam might take place in some of the schools or colleges located in Kolkata itself.
For candidates who wish to appear for NET 2019 conducted by UGC, they must clear all the defined standards.
The eligibility criteria for the candidates are as mentioned below:
He/She must not be more than 28 years as on January 1, 2019, for application in Junior Research Fellowship.
Relaxation of up to 5 years is provided for candidates belonging to reserved categories.
PhD degree holders will be given relaxation of 5% aggregate marks if they have completed a masters degree before September 19, 1992, in NTA UGC NET.
Academic Qualifications:
Candidate must have scored at least 55% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST, OBC- NCL, PwD) in Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from university recognized by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science and Applications, Electronic Science etc. to be eligible for UGC NET 2019.
Candidates who are presently in the final year of their Master’s program or those who are waiting for their final year results can appear for UGC NET 2019 test. Such candidates will be admitted provisionally and will be considered eligible for the award of Junior Research Fellowship or eligible for Assistant professor post, only after they secure at least 55% aggregate marks (50% for OBC (Non- creamy layer)/SC/ST/PWD category) in Master’s Program.
PhD degree holders will be eligible to appear for NET examination if they had completed their Master’s Degree by September 19, 1991. Such candidates will be given relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks.
Age Limit:
UGC NET 2019 Age Limit and Relaxation for Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor:
Junior Research Fellowship: A candidate must not be more than 28 years as on January 1, 2019.
Assistant Professor: There is no upper age limit for applying into the eligibility of assistant professor.
