To get seat in prestigious NITs you should secure a decent rank.In case if you belong to general category then the competition is very tough among the same category students so to be on safe side if you manage to score above 250 you will have high chances of getting a seat in NIT and branch of your choice.In case if you belong to any reserved category then if you manage to score 200+ then it will be good for you.Manage to be in top 80 percentile.Aim bigger work hard.
