BCECE takes into consideration the reservation criteria, where some seats are reserved for students from Bihar and others are alloted. Those who will apply for state level entrance exam will have to fulfill BCECE eligibility criteria 2019 both for exam and admission purpose.
BCECE has not declared the cut-off 2019 yet, but on the basis of previous year's cut off the qualifying marks and cut-offs are;
• General category
Qualifying marks :- 50%
Cut-off:- 600 marks
• Obc/ST/SC
Qualifying marks:- 40%
Cut-off:- 480 marks
• General PH
Qualifying marks:- 45%
Cut-off :- 540 marks
• Reserved Category -PH
Qualifying marks:- 40%
Cut-off:- 480 marks
The following are the closing ranks for different programmes;
1. Mechanical engineering- 478
2. Electrical engineering- 601
3. Civil engineering- 609
4. Electronic & communication engineering- 1069
5. Computer science engineering- 1576
6. Information technology- 1936
7. Electrical & electronic engineering- 2434
8. Leather Technology- 3380
If a candidate scores less than the closing rank, then he/she will not be entertained for admission to any BCECE participating Institutes.
The entrance exam tentatively is conducted in 4th week of April for Admission of candidates in B.tech programme. The results is expected to be announced in 3rd week of June.

See it's for the first time that JEE MAINS marks are used to get admissioned in the state college under this. So it difficult to tell until the concerned authority itself announces the cut off score or percentile.
Telling about the percentile is also not of full surity until NTA announces the result of the JEE MAINS for admissions in different colleges across the country.
