Hello
When CBSE was the conducting body for NEET it had placed a restriction of maximum 3 attempts but since now NEET comes under NATA there is no restriction as such. The three limit rule was introduced by the CBSE in the year 2017 but no longer applies. Therefore, all candidates can appear for NEET as many times as the upper age limit rule (check next section) permits them. Now as far as maximum age is concerned in 2018, the upper age limit clause of NEET( stating that max age for UR is 25 and for reserved candidates is 30) was upheld by the Delhi High Court and then it was further challenged in the Supreme Court. The MCI's decision to reintroduce an upper age limit in NEET was first revealed via a Gazette of India notification published on January 23, 2018 . There is no limit to the number of attempts for NEET exam. You can appear for NEET as many times as you are within the upper age limit.
All the best.
