Hello Aspirant. I hope you are in good health. In JEE Main, there are two types of cutoffs - qualifying cutoffs and admission cutoffs . Qualifying cutoff is the minimum marks, rank or percentile that a candidate must achieve in order to be selected for JEE Main counselling under 15% All India Quota and 85% State Quota as well as to get allowance to apply and attempt JEE Advanced (if he/she desires). On the contrary, Admission cutoffs differ from institutes to institutes and are variable.
In order to be qualified in JEE Main a candidate needs to fetch certain marks, percentile or rank. In 2021, for General candidates , Expected Qualifying cutoff marks of JEE Main is prescribed as 90- 95 to make their names eligible for listing on Common Rank List (CRL). In 2020, qualifying cutoff percentile for General was 90.3765335, for SC was 50.1760245, for ST was 39.0696101, for OBC the percentile was 72.8887969, for GEN-EWS it was 70.2435518 and for PwD it was 0.0618524.

See the qualifying cut-off percentiles which needs to be cleared by any candidate to sit in JEE-Advance is released along with the final result of JEE-Main and for JEE-Main 2021 the final result will be released after all four attempts will be completed and the final result will be on the basis of your best score amongst different attempts. However based on previous year's cut-off trends we can help you with the expected qualifying cut-offs for this year :-
