Sir I am a B.Tech Student GEN. catagory having 70% in my grad. 74% in 12th and 72.5 in 10th how much do i have to score in CAT to get in FMS

You will be glad to know FMS does not put much emphasis on past academic records. CAT score is the major criteria to get into FMS followed by Personal Interview, Group Discussion and Extempore. Nevetheless you need to score exceptionally well to get a call from the institute. A score of 99.2+ is required for FMS.

you got good marks in graduation, to get admission in FMS your marks are good but CAt marks also important to get admission in this.

the criteria to check the score of CAT in FMS is sectional weightage. to know the sectional weightage cutoff I provide a link here-

so to get admission in FMS first you start preparation for CAT exam and secure more than 90%.

However, securing a high percentile is not the only criterion to convert the call as shortlisted candidates have to appear for Extempore and Essay Writing rounds.
