Dear aspirant,

You have to understand eligibility criteria

The age limit for NDA is

Lower Age Limit

15.7 years (not later than 1st January 2006)/ 16 years during the commencement of course

Upper Age Limit

18.7 years (not earlier than 2nd January 2003)/ 19 years during the commencement of cours

You have to complete your 12th that is 10+2 for nda eligibility, you aren’t eligible after just 10th

Hope this information helped you

Thank you

Hi

After passing 10th , you cannot directly go for NDA examination

This is because in order to be eligible for NDA examination ,

the minimum qualification is 10 + 2,

so after your 10th you need to complete your 11th and 12th in order to be eligible

NDA eligibility criteria says that:-

-------------) Qualifucation required :-

  • For army :- you need educational  qualification of 10 + 2 in any stream .

  • For navy and Airforce :- you need qualifucation of 10 + 2 with Physics and Maths .

- ------------) You must be  in the age group of 16.5 to 19.5 years old to be eligible.

With your date of birth right now you are 15 years old and by the time you complete your 12th you will  become 18 years old and as the upper age limit for NDA is 19.5, you will still be eligible for NDA examination with your mentioned date of birth

-------------) Earlier for nda only boys were eligible but now, girls are also eligible for Army in nda . For details on this refer:- https://news.careers360.com/nda-2021-sc-allows-women-appear-in-national-defence-academy-exam-slams-army-for-gender-discrimination
