Eligibility for DUET entrance exam for B.tech requires a candidates to have qualified their Class 12th and must have secured an aggregate of 60% marks in the qualifying examination. For Qualifying Subject a candidate must have secured at least 60% marks in four subjects which must include Mathematics as compulsory subject.

the eligibility criteria for duet btech is candidate need to pass 10+2 course from a recognized board of education with  60% marks in aggregate in four subjects which must include Mathematics as compulsory subject.

however you can take direct admission in b.tech course from second year of studies through lateral entry exam test. however iits and nits have no lateral entry scheme, but all state government and state university has lateral entry admission process.
