Analyzing the previous year cut off it is not possible to get seat in NIT/IIIT/GFTI with such category rank in JEE Main. If your category rank is under 8000 you will have decent chances of getting seat in NIT/IIIT/GFTI. As your rank is above 8000 you do not have chances to get seat in NIT/IIIT/GFTI through JoSAA counselling.

The cut off changes every year depending on the total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.

Do not loose hope. You may apply for state level counselling to get admission in to a college accepting JEE Main score. In states like Maharashtra, Uttarkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh the admission in to Engineering is based on merit in JEE Main.
