Hello,

As per the official information brochure released by NTA, your state of eligibility is decided on the basis of the state from where you passed 10+2 board exam or in case of CBSE where the std XII school is situated. So, even though you belong to Jharkhand, your state of eligibility is Bihar. Your Home State Quota will be applicable in the state of Bihar. This eligibility is for Mains only. As per the knowledge, Jharkhand state counseling requires domicile to be from Jharkhand state only.

Thank You
