The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and science. The GATE score of a candidate reflects the relative performance level of a candidate.Graduate Aptitude test in Engineering(GATE) exam is conducted yearly once to provide admissionss into post graduate courses in various prestigious institutes like IITs,NITs,IIITs etc.. and also to be taken into various jobs in Public Sector Undertakings(PSUs).
One thing you should keep in mind is that we cannot predict the rank based on your score because the gate score depends on the following factors

No.of students appeared in the examination.
We cannot predict your rank based on the score but with this score and your category, you can definitely expect a call from many PSUs and IITs.Already, Many PSUs have released notifications inviting people to apply for the vacancies.Some of the PSUs from which you can expect a call are:

BHEL(Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited):
Based on the
GATE
Marks and needs, applicants shall be shortlisted for Interview in order of merit in the ratio of 1:3 to the number of vacancies in particular discipline and Category.

PGCIL(Power Grid Corporation of India Limited):
The Selection Process consists of marks obtained (out of 100) in the corresponding paper of GATE
2019, Group Discussion & Personal Interview.

NTPC(National Thermal Power Corporation):
Applicants have to secure minimal qualifying marks each in Group Discussion and Interview individually, before being considered within the benefit checklist. The ultimate merit list shall be prepared based on
85% weight-age of GATE-2019 marks
,
5% weight-age of GD marks
and
10% weight-age of Interview marks

ONGC(Oil and Natural Gas Corporation):
The GATE-2019 Score in the subject mentioned against the posts of ONGC will be considered by ONGC for shortlisting the candidates for the further selection process of Personal Interview as per the criteria decided by the Management.

BARC(Bhabha Atomic Research Centre):
Applicants will be shortlisted for Interview process on the basis of a valid
GATE 2018 / 2019 score
. Applicants with a degree in ‘Nuclear Engineering’ will be screened in only on the basis of Online Examination to be conducted in March/April 2019.

NPCIL(Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited):
Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) develops, operate and maintain nuclear power reactors of India.
Applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of GATE 2017 / GATE 2019 Scores for the Interview process.
Final selection will only depend upon performance in the Personal Interview.

GAIL(Gas Authority of India Limited):
Gas Authority of India Limited GAIL is a maharatna company.Based on the GATE-2019 score and requirement, applicants will be short-listed for Group Discussion and/ or Personal Interview for the position of Executive Trainee.

IOCL(Indian Oil Corporation Limited):
Employment in all the Engineering branches is on the basis of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering GATE Score.Short-listing of candidates for further selection process (comprising Group Discussion (GD) & Group Task (GT) and Personal Interviews (PI)) is based on the GATE-2019 score. GATE score of 2018 or any other previous examination is not valid. Candidates will require obtaining minimum 40% marks in GD/GT and Personal Interview for being considered in the merit list.
Admissions into IITs will be done through GATE COAP.
GATE COAP:
GATE Common Offer Acceptance (COAP) is a common portal through which GATE qualified candidates will be able to apply for admissions into IITs. Firstly, the candidates will have to register with their obtained GATE scores and select their IITs of their choice. After reviewing, the admission offers from the applied IITs will be listed out in the GATE COAP portal. The candidates will be able to select their preference from the set of offers and proceed with the admission process.

The score card of GATE will be issued to only those candidates who score equal to or more than the qualifying GATE 2019 cutoff.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is conducted annually for admissions to postgraduate courses offered by IITs, NITs and other GFTIs and colleges. The scores of the exam are also used by PSUs for recruitment.
Considering your score and that you are a SC category aspirant, you should be able to get interview opportunities in the following PSUs - THDC, AAI , NPCIL, BEML, BHEL and BSNL to name a few. You will also be able to get admission in all IITs should you wish to pursue M.Tech.
