Hello student,

Since the last date for correction has passed and you mistakenly selected EBC instead of BC for your category, here are a few steps you can take:

1. Contact the Board Authorities:

  • Immediately reach out to the Bihar Board (BSEB) authorities through their official helpline or email. Explain your situation and request a manual correction.

    2. Visit the Board Office:

  • If possible, visit the BSEB regional or head office in person. Bring proof of your correct category ( BC certificate) and any other necessary documents.

    3. Submit an Application:

  • Write a formal application addressed to the board, explaining the mistake and requesting a correction. Attach a copy of your BC category certificate with the application.

    4. Keep Documents Ready:

  • During exams or counseling, keep your BC category certificate and other documents ready, in case there's an opportunity for verification or correction later in the process.

Contact the Bihar Board as soon as possible through their helpline or by visiting their office. Submit an application with your BC certificate to request a correction.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

It's unfortunate that you inadvertently selected EBC instead of BC during your Bihar Board registration. While the last date for corrections might have passed, there are a few steps you can take to address this issue:

  1. Immediate Action:

    • Contact the Bihar Board: Reach out to the Bihar Board's official helpline or visit their office directly. Explain your situation clearly and request guidance on how to rectify the mistake.
    • Provide Documentation: Be prepared to provide any relevant documentation, such as caste certificates or proof of belonging to the BC category, to support your claim.
  2. Explore Appeal Options:

    • Appeal Process: If the Bihar Board doesn't offer direct corrections, inquire about their appeal process. They might have a mechanism in place to review and address such errors.
    • Submit a Written Appeal: Prepare a detailed written appeal, outlining the circumstances and providing evidence to support your claim.
  3. Seek Legal Advice:

    • Consult a Lawyer: If the above steps don't yield a positive outcome, consider consulting a lawyer specializing in educational law or administrative law. They can provide guidance on legal remedies or potential next steps.

Important Considerations:

  • Timeliness: Act promptly and be persistent in your efforts. The sooner you address the issue, the better your chances of a favorable resolution.
  • Documentation: Ensure that you have all the necessary documentation to prove your caste category. This will strengthen your case.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with the Bihar Board officials and any legal representatives involved.

Remember: While the situation may seem challenging, it's important to remain calm and explore all available options. By taking proactive steps, you may be able to resolve the issue and ensure that your registration is corrected.

I hope it helps !!
