For a percentile of 98 in jee mains your general category rank should be around 20k. You will get admission in NIT on the basis of your category rank i.e. Gen-EWS rank. It is not easy to predict your EWS rank because it depends on the no. Gen - EWS students that participated this year also EWS is a new quota so its little hard to predict your exact ews rank . By estimation, For a percentile of 98 your Gen-EWS rank should be around 2k - 2.5k. With this Gen-EWS rank your chances of getting NIT Warangal is possible. If you have home state quota then you can get branches like civil, biotech, chemical, Metallurgical. If you have other state quota then you can get biotech, metallurgical. Chemical and civil also but less chance if you are from other state.

Now you are from EWS category so you have a good chance to get a seat in warangal nit college.But it depends on cut off  of 2020  which depends on number of candidates appeared and qualified in the jee main exam, difficulty level of exam, previous year's cut off of that college.
