One can belong to the general category and still be a part of any minority category. In India, Muslims, Jains, Parsis etc. come under minority category and have some advantages over other majority communities like Hindus etc.
If you are a Muslim you should fill the information as General category and in Minority category put up yes and then another detail would be asked which will be filling up the name of the minority community that you belong to then you need to write Muslim there. After cracking NEET you might secure your chances of getting into medical institutes through Muslim Minority Category.
