Dear Preeti,

Glad to know your interest in Law. Basically, it is to inform you that CLAT eligibiity criteria requires minimum 45% marks For General and OBC categorie and 40% for SC and ST caterories in aggregate of the subjects which you appear in 12th Board exam. There is no criteria regarding your graduation percentage. Hence, I would like to suggest you to check your 12th Board percentage as per your category to determine your eligibility.

Hello Preeti

Well steeping directly to your question, CLAT examination requires your 12th marksheet and no where mentions about your graduation certificate. Thus scoring above 45% in 12th grade is sufficient criteria for getting chance to appear in CLAT.

Although personally I would recommend you going for 3 year law from any State University as u have already completed your graduation and CLAT provides for 5year dual course.

HI,

Since you have completed your graduation so you may go for 3 year law degree that will be of more help. otherwise the criteria for CLAT exam is 45% marks who have passed 12th Board Exam for general category student and 40% for SC and ST. After graduation you may apply for law degree but you need to have 50% marks.

Hello Preeti, as you asked about graduation percentage eligibility in CLAT for B.A.LL.B there is no eligbility limit on graduation marks they only ask about 12th marks As regards minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2), the candidates must have secured:Forty five percent (45%) marks in case of candidates belonging to Unreserved/OBC and Forty Percent (40%) marks in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) categories. and if you have completed graduation you can directly apply for a three year law degree or for betterment of your B.A. its the best option grab that because CLAT has no age limit.

Good Luck
