Sir.. I am really confused what to pursue after my 12th(science).. Whether B. A. or B. Sc? I want to become a civil servant in future!
Hello Bhargavi
First let me tell you about various options available if you pursue B.Sc or B.A.
- B.Sc as you know is BACHELOR'S OF SCIENCE (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Zoology).. After completion of this course you can either go for MSc or MPhil or PHd or there are various job options available..Its a 3 year course and offered in various Colleges across India..
- On the other hand B.A. is BACHELOR'S OF ARTS.. After completion of this course you can go for M.A. Or Diploma Courses or MBA or LLB and many more
- The content offered in This Couse(B.A.) is somewhat same as Course of Civil Exams(Not all But 30-40%) What i am trying to say is After completion of this course if you go for Civil Exams then 1/4 of the syllabus is already covered in your Under graduation...
- This is one of the main the reason because of which people go for B.A. course ...Its not like that if you are doing some other course then uyo cannot go for Civil Exams
- Civil Exams require a lot of Study and Dedication and Seriousness ...And its syllabus is very vast and it requires so much of Hard work..
- So If you're Sure to become CIVIL SERVANT then I would suggest go for B.A. Course as it will definitely help you further
- All the Very Best for future and Feel free to ask any Questions
