Sir, I am science student. But I want to be a journalist. I am in +2 class. Give me information about courses.
Hi Akshay,
It is glad that you wish to follow your dream. There is no issue of being a science student. You just have to maintain 50-60% in all subjects for getting admitted into a journalism college. You can go for BJMC as the UG course then you can go for masters in this too. There are specialised courses too for news reading and editorial etc;
To take admission in a Journalism UG course you are required to pass 10+2 with mandatory minimum marks along with a good score in entrance tests held for the UG programme which is conducted by various state, central and private universities.
Bachelor of Arts in Journalism is a 3-year programme.
The scope for Journalism graduates ranges from News Channels, Radio Stations and Publications to Advertising and Public Relations.
Here is a list of a few good collegs offering the course. You should look out for their respective entrances.-
