Hello there,
In the case of the BSEB Class 12th improvement exam , if you appear for improvement in all five subjects but improve in only two subjects while the remaining three subjects show lower marks than the previous year, here’s what will happen:
Marks in Improved Subjects : The new marks in the subjects you improved will replace the previous marks, even if they are lower. So, the lower marks in the improvement exam will be considered, not the previous year’s marks.
For Subjects with Lower Marks : For the subjects where you scored lower marks in improvement , the previous year’s marks will be retained. BSEB does not follow a "Best of Two" policy, meaning the best marks from the original and improvement exams are not considered together. Conclusion :
BSEB considers new marks for improved subjects , even if they are lower, and previous marks for subjects where you didn’t improve. There is no "Best of Two" system for improvement exams.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.
