There are certain eligibility criteria that one has to fulfil to be able to write the National defence academy/Naval Academy or NDA/NA examination.

• Academic wise eligibility criteria is-

----- Candidates must be 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

• Most of the time age is the deciding factor for eligibility. Now the age wise eligibility criteria is that the candidate must be between 16.5 to 19.5 years of age.

• Also for the NDA 2022 examination the DOB of the candidates for the two attempts is as following-

• NDA -1, 2022

DOB Between - 2nd July 2003 to 1st July , 2006

• NDA - 2, 2022

DOB Between- 2nd January , 2004, to 1st January , 2007

---- Currently you are around 17 years old, and you still have 2.5 years to turn 19.5 Years.

So you can appear for the NDA examination till 2024 and if we count the attempt including the two attempts this year then you have a total of 5 attempts.

Nda is a national exam for entry in college of army , air forces , etc. The exam is conducted at national level . For Army Wings, you must have passed 10+2 and for Indian Air force wings , you should passed 10+the with physics and maths as a subject.There is no limit on number of attempts. You are eligible for NDA 2023 if you satisfy the above eligibility criteria.

According to the current eligibility criteria set up for NDA examination, a candidate needs to age between 16.5 to 19.5 years in order to be eligible for examination. In addition to this he or she must be an appearing candidate for board examination or have completed his/her intermediate studies. So following this you would be eligible for NDA 2 2022 first time and your last attempt would be in NDA 1 2024.
