Sreekumar, Engineering requires mathematics. So you are not in a position of qualifying even if you qualify the physics/chemistry.
If you want to be admitted for Engineering courses it is necessary that you attend both Physics/Chemistry as well as Mathematics. If you dont appear in one paper it will be getting marks of zero.
